Dosage (250ml bottle)

• Age 1 to 4 – 2.5ml/day (100 servings per bottle)
• Age 5 to 11 – 5ml/day (50 servings per bottle)
• Age 12- Adult- 10ml/day (25 servings per bottle)

What is Liposomal Vitamin C?

A new technology known as liposomal encapsulation has been developed. Tiny bubbles of natural fatty acid known as liposomes are wrapped around the nutrients to protect them as they pass through the digestive system. This enables more of the nutrients to be absorbed, rather than being destroyed or damaged by stomach acids.

Do Liposomal supplements work better than ordinary supplements?

Several studies have demonstrated significantly increased bioavailability of nutrients via the liposomal delivery method. This means that a larger quantity of nutrients are absorbed into circulation.

Mighty Kids was the first UK company to create liposomal supplements for kids and so as industry leaders, we wanted to exercise caution and start with a very conservative age limit. We have since received guidance from our team of scientists and nutritionists that our dosage on all our products in the kids line is safe from 12 months- with parental discretion. Parents need to ensure a child is not already on a prescribed infant formula, specially fortified milk, or other supplements that contain high amounts of these ingredients. Please check labels for these amounts. We previously decided that we were most comfortable keeping the labels as they were to allow for direct communication with parents to explain the above and to ensure absolute safety for those who may not reach out to us beforehand to discuss this. However, with over a year of education provided to our customers, we are now in the process of updating our labels to reflect the current guidance and this will happen in the next production batch.
